The Los Angeles Center for Psychoanalytic Research, Ltd. The Los Angeles Center for Psychoanalytic Research was incorporated in 1989 under the laws of the State of California. LACPR was recognized at the time of incorporation as a tax exempt corporation in California (23701d). LACPR is also recognized as a tax exempt, publicly supported corporation by the Internal Revenue Service under the 501 c (3) and 509 (a) 1 code sections. The Board of Directors is elected by the members. The Board elects its own chair. Operating officers are appointed by, and may be removed by, the Board of Directors. The operating officers include the President, Secretary, Treasurer, Research Director, Clinical Director, and Administrative Director. The Administrative Director also serves as Director of Development. LACPR operates a clinic, known as The Anxiety Disorders Center, for the treatment of patients that fall within the boundaries set by research projects of LACPR. Patients seeking consultation who do not meet the research criteria are referred for treatment elsewhere. |
